Mike and his wife, Leilani, are the two owners and operators of the Holopono. Mike McCulloch is the licensed Holopono captain and is a U.S. Coast Guard 50 Ton Master. Our boats are safe and reliable to ensure that your Hawaii fishing trips are fun and comfortable! From the very start, the Holopono was built to be a strong and reliable boat. CABO uses only the highest quality components available in the construction of their boats. Every piece of the boat is very carefully engineeed, including the engines, shaft alignment couplings, and shaft seals and shaft log boots. CABO has been known to often fabricate their own boat parts, because there is often no supplier that can meet their standards.

We do our best to ensure that your Hawaii fishing trips are safe and comfortable aboard our Hawaii fishing boats, so that you can enjoy the deep blue Pacific water. We take your safety very seriously. Before each trip, we take the responsibility of checking that all of our systems are 100% working order.
