Mike and his wife, Leilani, are the two head owners and head operators of the Holopono boat. From the start, the Holopono was built to be a reliable and powerful boat. CABO uses only premium components available in the building of their boats. In many cases, CABO constructs their own boat parts, because there often isn't a supplier that lives up to their standards. Every piece of the boat is meticulously maintained, including the engines, shaft alignment couplings, and shaft seals and shaft log boots.

Eight years later, the Holopono still looks like the gorgeous white boat that it did when it was first brought to Hawaii.
