The Holopono Captain, Mike McCulloch, is a U.S. Coast Guard licensed 50 Ton Master. Both Mike and his wife, Leilani, are the owners and head operators of the Holopono boat. From the start, the Holopono was built to be a reliable and powerful boat. CABO, the company that built the Holopono, uses only the finest components available in the construction of their boats. In many cases, CABO engineers their own boat parts, mainly because there is often no supplier that meets their high standards. Every piece of the boat is meticulously maintained, including the engines, shaft alignment couplings, and shaft seals and shaft log boots.
