Our licensed Holopono captain, Mike McCulloch, is a U.S. Coast Guard 50 Ton Master. Mike and his wife, Leilani, are the two owners and operators of the Holopono. Our boats are very safe and reliable to ensure that Oahu fishing trips are fun and comfortable! From the very start, the Holopono was built to be a strong and reliable boat. CABO uses only the highest quality components available in the construction of their boats. Every piece of the boat is very carefully engineeed, including the engines, shaft alignment couplings, and shaft seals and shaft log boots. CABO has been known to often fabricate their own boat parts, because there is often no supplier that can meet their standards.

Eight years later, the Holopono still looks like the beautiful white boat that it did when it was first delivered to us in Oahu.
